Yiorgos is a greek photographer based in New York city. He is probably one of the most adventurous greek photographers that i know. He left Europe after a personal show in Paris with a need to explore United States all by himself with a car and his photographic equipment. That project 10.000 American Movies took four years and over 44.000 miles distance to be completed. One of his photos for this project during that years won the first prise in a category titled: Americana on Photography Masters Cup Awards among 8.500 other photographers. He now says that the only trip that people should make is the one inside us. A true traveler must have no goals, plans or destinations, there is only one thing that matters… To loose yourself!
Today i m sharing his project Global Summer. Its a study on universal behavior and, more specifically, on how people relate to water as a natural element. The artist suggests that when people are near water – the sea, lakes, rivers and swimming pools – they are not only relaxed and amused but, wearing as little as possible, they reveal their inner nature.
